Rated The Adventures of Tintin 8/10

I was shocked at how much I enjoyed Tintin, put off by the prospect of motion-capture blighted by 'uncanny valley'. It turned out I was WAY off the mark. Not only is the mo-cap animation excellent, beautiful even, the whimsical script and crotch-grabbing action also leave an indelible mark. This would have made a brilliant Indiana Jones story, but instead we are treated to something new, and I for one can't wait to see the rest of the trilogy.
