Ridley Scott's uncompromisingly beautiful nourish sci-fi thriller is one of my all time favourite movies. Stunning art direction in hand with a wonderfully subtle, ambiguous and sometimes downright obtuse script, put this head and shoulders ahead of almost any other sci-fi movie. The cast give exemplary performances; from Harrison Ford's understated detective to Rutger Hauer's scenery chewing replicant, everybody is perfectly cast. Scott has created an immersive universe that rewards multiple viewings. There are subtle details here that can instantly change your perception of a scene as soon as you notice them. It's time you re-rewatched this classic too. Version: Final Cut
