I think whoever wrote this movie definitely *saw* the original, but didn't really understand it. This is a pretty pathetic sequel, devoid of everything that made the first movie good. We're left with some annoying kids whine on about how life isn't fair and a horribly clunky advert for a band called Union J. And some really bad special effects.
