Rated The Big Sick 7/10

The Big Sick was a delicate and touching movie. A love story about falling for your partner's parents is a charming pivot on the romcom norm without ever feeling like a cheesy twist. Each of the adorable characters were given time to breathe and let us get to know them, but this indulgent editing allowed a brilliant 110min story to be stretched out to 120mins. In the end, I loved everyone in The Big sick so much that I'll watch again. I just know it could have easily been a better movie.
