This is about the millionth time I’ve seen Stand by Me. We all resonate with Gordy most, right? Navigating our own trials, looking for acceptance, and discovering who we are. Gordy’s journey holds a mirror up to our search for meaning and friendship, showing that deep down we all share the same fears. I think he reminds us of the strength we find in connection and the courage that gives us to face life’s challenges.
