There's a much more interesting version of this movie where we spend some time with Yelena and experience her work-exacerbated ennui. It would come at the expense of that incredible plotline with huge pay off: 100-year-old man with history of killing people for an international terrorist organization gets elected to public office. Boy, did they sure make hay out of that two-movie arc.
