Rated Sing Sing 8/10

Pretty much as good as was hyped, made better by the context of who is delivering the performances. There's a tinge of sadness here that I'll always remember this as the Oscar favorite that faded away due to A24 shifting its strategy and walking away after a decision to release this in the summer. But it's worth seeking out and it holds up against the best movies of 2023 and 2024.
