I'm not the biggest Yorgos Lanthimos fan, so I was pleasantly surprised by how much I was along for the ride on this one. Emma Stone is doing solid work, but MVP is Jesse Plemmons, who captures the essence of a modern conspiracy theorist compellingly. The guy playing cousin Don in his first time role is also strong. And a shout out to the musical score, which was at times properly disorienting and also enthralling.
