Rated The Odyssey 9/10
Technically incredible. Emotionally didn’t have me in the first half, but the ending really brings it all together. I liked the more modern reframing of who Odysseus was and what he did, and how that impacted his journey home, and I felt like it worked really well.
It’s kind of baffling how this film feels like a direct sequel to Oppenheimer in so many ways. Thematically they’re almost the same movie, but this is quite a bit more hopeful.
