Rated Jade War 8/10

A good, engaging sequel with enough arc to support itself while still building on the first and setting up a third. I really dig both the concept - a gritty modern crime drama mixed with wuxia action-fantasy - and the execution; it’s fun pulpy writing with multiple perspectives, soapy relationships, and well-done fight scenes. A little sprawlier than the first, but definitely inspires me to get to the third soon.
