Rated Genghis Khan and the Making of the Modern World 8/10

A comprehensive and laudatory history of Genghis Khan, his descendants, and the impacts of the empire he built. Sympathetic and contrarian, in a way that's very convincing but definitely elides the body count. Wavers in how engaging it is at any given time, but at its best it's fascinating; recommended if you dig history.
