Rated Oryx and Crake 6/10

This is more of a 3 1/2 star review - it's a very well-done book but left me a little cold, less engaged by it/disturbed by it than I think is intended. It's two dystopias in one - a straightforward, well-described and convincing sci-fi dystopic world as remembered by a survivor dwelling in a surreal post-apocalypse.
