Rated A Wizard of Earthsea 8/10

I read once this as a much younger person and liked it but didn't quite get a lot of what was going on. It's really lovely and strange, much more dreamy and lonely than a lot of fantasy. It builds a very concrete world and keeps this big, mythic tone even as the story itself is very intimate and interior to the main character.
