Great, great book. Lovely, dreamy writing and a deeply-felt story. True first-person story of a historian who occupies her time after her father's death by training a goshawk, paralleled with a look at how another depressed British writer, T.H. White, wrote about training a goshawk in the 1930s. One of the most accurately-descriptive stories of depression that I've read.
