Rated Homo Deus: A History of Tomorrow 8/10

Liked the second book in the series, although it had repetitions of the first one (Sapiens). That makes the book likely more complete on its own.

Overall the book is a very interesting anthology of ideologies, religions, philosophies and beliefs of the humankind. After reviewing the past and the present, the author speculates what biotech and artificial intelligence could mean in the future. Particularly interesting is author's suggestion of what ideology could replace liberal humanism once AI becomes better then humans in understanding emotions and feelings of individuals.

These ideas helped me understand motives (and the conflict between) of those who want to protect personal data and those who want to make it all public.
