Rated KPop Demon Hunters 10/10

I remember the first time I watched this movie back in 2025 after it came out. It was mainly to see what all the hype around it was about, and after that, I came away happy, for I had gotten to witness perhaps the greatest cinematic masterpiece since Toy Story and Shrek.

The story was well-written and amazing, and I especially loved the substory revolving around Rumi and Jinu's relationship. Each of them were dealing with something they could only be open about when around each other. I can see a story like that being relatable for those who've been dealing with something they've tried to hide from others for fear of judgement and having only one person or group of people that they can open up and be their true selves in the presence of. I would talk more about the story, but I don't wanna spoil anything for those who have yet to watch it.

The soundtrack is full of songs that are certified bangers, such as How It's Done and Golden from HUNTR/X, Soda Pop from the Saja Boys, and even Rumi and Jinu's duet Free. The singing voices for Rumi, Mira, and Zoey did an outstanding job with their performances in HUNTR/X's songs. After all, is it really any wonder why Golden topped music charts? That song has a fitting name; it really is golden. ✨

Overall, this was a fantastic movie. ❤️ And now that a sequel is in development, I'm looking forward to seeing where they go with it in terms of the story.
