Rated Carrie 10/10

Mike Flanagan once again shows why he is the master of TV horror.

He did a great job of updating the story to fit in with teenage internet bullying, and some serious mean girl vibes. The acting was top notch, such great actors all over this series, including many of his regulars.

It's been decades since I read the book or saw the movie, so this may have been there, but I think Flanagan decided to tie Carrie's powers into "The Shine".

Major spoiler:

They changed the ending of the book (Carrie survives), so if they do a second season (it is not needed) they will totally play off Carrie dealing with others who have The Shine. I trust Flanagan, but I do worry that it would be to close to AHS:Coven
