This is just OK. My issue is that, while the author seems like a really good guy, and I watched him on the Buzzfeed show, his life is only mildly interesting as a memoir. That sounds harsh, but I don't mean it to be. Like I said, I'm sure he is an interesting friend. But his life, its ups and downs, and the myriad of characters introduced along the way are just not very interesting as written. Even as an exercise in personal catharsis, it doesn't feel particularly reflexive or introspective. It's just sort of words on a page.
