Rated I Am Not a Witch 10/10

A quirky and darkly funny anti-fairy tale where the little girl - who is obviously, from the outset, just a regular orphaned kid, not a witch - is exploited by a greedy local politician.

Without giving anything away, there’s some darkly funny scenes plus a couple of sweet moments - but ultimately it’s doomed to be a grim tale.

The movie is fairly short, with some lovely visual flourishes along the way.
