Rated Wonka 7/10

I dare say, better than I expected? The trailers made this look absolutely insufferable, so when my family insisted on going, I had set my expectations to Very Low. But that may have been what allowed this movie to easily go beyond that. It's a silly, sappy movie, with lots of musical numbers and a pretty simple plot, but it does put it all together in a way that feels just right. It's even funny in some parts. All in all, id have to say that I'm pleased that I didn't hate it.
