Rated Death Race 2000 8/10

I was expecting this movie to be insane, but for the wrong reasons. I was expecting more of a B-movie slasher vibe, but I was pleasantly surprised by the satire. Much of it still rings true, in this day and age of reality television and leaders who blame "terrorist" attacks on nations that are convenient to blame. This ranks up there with Idiocracy and Starship Troopers in offering wild but uncomfortably prescient views of the future. I can't believe I don't hear more about it.
