What we got here is a classic angry man fantasy flick. Hottest girl in town wants you so bad that she'll do things for you that she knows are stupid, but all you want is blood, so you use her up like a cigarette, just because you can. You are in love with pain, and you can absorb bullets the way some men take shots of bourbon. Regular life wasn't going to save you, but you found salvation in revenge, and you are dropping fools just like bombs in operation rolling thunder. Production quality is a bit shit, but I suppose it adds to the grit. Plus the finale is a bit flaccid. A fine, uncomplicated watch if you are just hungry for some 70's grime.
