Just saw this in a theather full of middle aged ravers in SF, which is pretty much the most appropriate crowd you're gonna get for this movie. I hadn't seen it since it came to The Red Vic 24 years ago. All of the rave details are still spot on, and it very much nails that specific time period of being in SF. The main romance is still the weakest link of the movie, and I had somehow totally forgotten about the gay subplot. I never realized that Nick Offerman was in this thing, either, way early in his career. I have no idea how this plays to people outside of the Bay Area raver demographic, but I hope they realize that this is a special one for us.
