Rated The Sorrow and the Pity 10/10

Although long and a bit tedious in places, this film is still an invaluable lesson in what happens when you country gets overrun by fascists. The rich cover their asses and make excuses, while those with nothing to lose except their integrity actually stand up and fight. I'm glad this exists to show how unheroic some parts of society was in the face of evil; it helps you recognize how it is happening all over again.
