Dresden is back! I wasn't a huge fan of Ghost Story. To be fair, Changes was a tough act to follow. Any book would have suffered coming on the heels of everything that happened. But, whatever mojo was missing in Ghost Story found its way back to the page in Cold Days. Everything was on point, the characters, the dialogue, even the scenic descriptions. The plot was twisty and the last 100-150 pages felt like a sprint....into a pit of alligators.

And, believe it or not, things are MORE screwed up at the end than when the book starts. That's the sign of a great book.
