Rated The Killer 6/10

Had a tough time assessing this movie. I struggled with defining what it was that I saw. Had to listen to a podcast to help me. Glad I did that because the answer I came up with is that this was not a movie. It was a mini series made up of 5 episodes. That helped me digest this content much better.  There's not a true character arc and not that much of a plot. We have a character study of an unwavering contract killer disconnected from society. While there are elements that would lead to personal growth, each conflict is merely an obstacle to the character's inertia. He's already on a path. We learn that it takes a lot to get him to even consider veering away from his path.  Great character, great acting despite barely any spoken dialogue. However the traditional storytelling structure is not even applicable here. By the end, it makes you wonder if there was even a point. I guess he's one of the many instead of one of the few?  And that's only because he said it within his inner dialogue.  However, this was not forgettable. Far from it. But I lack the tools to express what it is that makes it compelling. I just liked it.
