Visually spectacular. Austin Butler is everything you want an Elvis to be, completely capturing the charisma that made Elvis the King.  Then there’s Tom Hanks as Colonel Tom Parker. I don’t care how if it was an accurate portrayal or not. All I know is that the more I saw of The Colonel, the less happy I was. Telling much of story from Parker’s perspective made it worse.  Overall it was an enjoyable movie but it made the mistake of most biopics by trying to tell too much in too short of time.
