Rated The Batman 8/10

The best advice I got was to treat this like a ‘film noir’. That put me in the right headspace to understand and enjoy this film.  I had my doubts about Pattinson as Batman, but he does so well in a plethora of other roles, why not this too?  He delivered the goods for me.  Oddly enough with so many characters you would expect it to feel crowded and people get lost/forgotten. However the story, while convoluted at times, gives each role some meaning.  I did not think we needed another Batman franchise but I’ve been wrong before.
