Another movie made by dumb people trying to act smart.   The premise was initially promising but using the debunked "humans only use 10% of their brains" fallacy undercuts everything. Plus maximizing one's brain gives the person telekinesis and telepathy for some reason.  The bad guys all seem to get shot as an attempt to give their deaths weight. Instead it makes it look like all problems are solves with shooting people. An odd focus when the main character is expanding her brain functions.  Scarlet Johansson is doing the best she can with a flimsy plot. The SFX have to do some heavy lifting to keep Lucy from acting goofy.  I was entertained but shortly after the midpoint I lost interest. I think the filmmakers did too.
