Rated Boston Strangler 6/10

Was a bit too “paint by numbers” for me but still had a good story to tell.  Highlighting the investigative efforts of Loretta McLaughlin and Jean Cole was the wise choice.  The real story is cluttered but this movie did not need to interweave the same clutter. Most of the story beats happened in the post movie text.  The beats during the movie made it seem like a Lifetime movie on occasion.  I hope people don’t rag on Knightly for not being an authentic Bostonian because it did not matter. She’s a good actress and it shows.  Overall it felt like it underachieved. Would like to have seen a version of this movie from a more skilled director (and/or writer)
