This movie had dizzying highs and dreadful lows leaving me with a mediocre feeling after viewing this film.  At its worst, this movie subverted any agency that Bella had, turning her into a sex toy with literally the brain of a child.  While that may have been the point, it repulsed me instead of enlightening me.  At its best is when Bella delves into philosophical discussions after being held captive on the ship.  She understands that life is not black or white and appreciates flowing within the grey areas.  The ending could have catapulted this story into the "above average" status, but alas too many non-sensical decisions were made (rejoining the unknown husband, turning him into a goat). My biggest takeaway is that there are many people that say they like this movie because many others have already said they liked this movie. An odd phenomenon for a story that teaches to to the exact opposite of going along with the crowd.
