Expected this to be cheesy, but there's enough heart in there to make it worth your while. While I enjoyed this, it seemed like the tone was way off, primarily the comedy. The dialogue had some funny moments, but nothing more than a few chuckles. In an attempt to beef up the comedy elements, instead of punching up the script, they decided that slap stick pratfalls were the answer. Jennifer Lawerence was quite enjoyable. Andrew Barth Feldman was a pleasant surprise. Loved how both characters were evolving in real time. The push/pull motif was clear in how they both went back and forth trying to figure out what their relationship actually was. For me, this motif caused a strange imbalance that resulted in overcorrection.
