Rated Speak No Evil 7/10

Better than your typical "trapped in a bad situation" movie. A lot more psychological than I expected which I believe adds depth to basic premise. We have seen James McAvoy tap into this more demented side in "Split" and "Glass", so we knew what he would bring to the table. He does not disappoint. MacKenzie Davis is always incredibly magnetic, so she is always welcome. Not sure if it was the character of Ben or Scoot McNairy playing him, but I found him annoying all the time without providing much value. While I enjoyed the whole movie, the ending seemed a little soft, especially after reading about the original ending from the Dutch version of this movie release 2 years earlier. MUCH darker, but I think that is the better ending (without actually seeing it). Nice touch at the beginning of this movie where the 2 families bond over not liking the Dutch family.
