Rated Blink Twice 7/10

Admired the flow of the initial setup into the inciting action/escalation. We were on the island in no time, and we clearly understand why. The story provides enough mystery to keep you guessing but does not keep you in the dark. However, once we got to the 3rd act, it had the same pitfalls as other movies in these "class warfare" or "eat the rich" genre movies have. The comeuppance inevitably becomes absurd. The final twist ending was fine, I guess, but the movie had essentially lost me at that point so the big twist fell flat for me. Even still, I don't think it was that great of a twist anyway since it did not make much sense based on Frida's established motivations. Had trouble connecting to Frida as much as Sarah. Adria Arjona made Sarah practically electric at times with what little she was given in that role. Channing Tatum brought this cool confidence which epitomized Slater King. Enjoyed most of the movie and would recommend. Stumbles at the end, which could leave you disappointed. Although I was technically disappointed, I left overly satisfied.
