I have one word for this movie: Unappetizing Although the movie shows you the female ideal, you can't help but see that nothing is quite right. Everything is off just a bit. Love Demi Moore, but I'm not sure this movie is Oscar nomination worthy. The Oscar nomination should go to Casting since Demi is the perfect fit for the role. However, that does not equate to an award worthy performance. The concept would work extremely well for a Black Mirror or Twilight Zone episode, but stretching this into a full-length movie was a step too far. The rules were set up cleanly and followed. Everything made sense, but the ending was just adding stuff to the pile until it was unrecognizable and unsavory. Speaking of a step too far, the body horror was way over the top. I get that it made sense in the surreal environment of this movie, but it left a bad taste in my mouth. Unappetizing.
