This review may contain spoilers. I think ultimately this is a film about revolutions. The way leftist thought and struggle against fascism can be co-opted. Optimus and Megatron's friendship and falling out reminds me of when communists and anarchists work together. Having each other's backs against a great enemy, until it all falls apart at the end. It's an extremely good and insightful movie in my opinion. Everything is setup perfectly to show the issues of Sentinel's reign, but you still feel the same shock when his true betrayal is revealed. Also the trains were really cool :P I loved the animation style, seeing the autobots and decepticons working together. Seeing how they got the names we normally know them by. (There's a reason Bumblebee's voice box got destroyed and why Ratchet doesn't work too hard on fixing it.)
