Rated Turtles All the Way Down 8/10

Really like 3.5 stars.

What I appreciated:
- The look inside someone's head with mental health issues. John Green has said that he was writing about his own OCD the best way he could for this character.
- The different relationships and the growth of learning to deal with other people that is explored in this book is. If I were in the target demographic (teens), I think it would have hit me even more.
- The language. Green does a great job at writing very conversationally and then sneaking in moments of beautiful description, metaphor, or observation in a way that doesn't seem cheesy.

What I missed:
- The plot here was very loose and didn't drive much. Which is some cases is fine, but when the plot given on the book cover is, "Aza never intended to pursue the mystery of fugitive billionaire Russell Pickett, but there’s a hundred-thousand-dollar reward at stake," I wanted something slightly faster paced.
