What a wonderful movie. Has its animation aged poorly? Absolutely. Has the heart that's permeating through it aged poorly? Not at all. I have seen this movie so many times. It's one of the most important films of my childhood, and yet it's still absolutely hilarious, no matter how many times I see it. I still feel deep emotion everytime I see it. All the characters are so loveable. There's of course the baby, absolutely adorable. The saber-tooth tiger pack which is filled with idiots. There's Sid the sloth, a total idiot who pretty much serves as the movies punching back and also is the main focus of the funniest scene in the movie (playing football against the dodo's) and his lactation joke is absolutely hilarious. Diego, the hunter who is supposed to kill Manny the Mammoth and the baby who is a true adventurer and has some of the best moments in the film. Manny who has been through a lot, is jaded, and wants rid of Sid, and is the master of name-calling and insulting others. Finally, who could forget Scrat? The cause of just about every problem in their world who is incapable of hiding his acorn. It's honestly a perfectly paced movie. Few films pace everything out as well as this movie does. Nothing overstays it's welcome or feels too short. They never overload you on jokes, despite the jokes seemingly coming a million miles per minute at points. If you want a charming movie that will entertain anyone, old or young, watch Ice Age. I highly recommend.
