Rated Sonic the Hedgehog 8/10

Let me say it right off the bat: I really enjoyed this film. The cast bounces off each other perfectly. I totally believed Tom and Rachel's relationship, and it was adorable. Jim Carrey nailed the role as Dr. Robotnik. Ben Schwartz is memorable as the voice of Sonic as well. Outside of the cast, I was impressed with the story. It was another story about how family isn't always blood, but I thought it was told in a different enough way that I didn't mind it. It was a well-paced flick that had plenty of humor (that rarely got annoying) and heart.
