Literally the only reason I watched this was because I couldn't sleep so I decided "why not be entertained at the least if I can't sleep." Well, at least I was decently entertained. I will give them props, all the way until they reach the Red Room it felt like they were trying to break out of the MCU formula and were for the most part succeeding. Unfortunately, they also decided to rip off the ending of "Winter Soldier." (You know, when the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarriers blow up) The ending was pretty lame. But, up until then, I was actually getting into the characters. I found them compelling, for an MCU film and I would actually be kind of interested in a movie about Florence Pugh's character. I don't care about the MCU anymore, but, I would probably see a movie about her. She was interesting. I liked her. One last criticism I would have is that the action could have been better. I don't think it needed to be super gritty, but I feel like they could have taken some lessons from Netflix's Daredevil on how to do action, since this is a movie about a character who has to fight with fists and legs, like Daredevil and they nailed the action in that show, which is a part of the MCU.
