Rated Terminator: Dark Fate 6/10

This was in interesting movie. Tim Miller pretty much decided to remake the first Terminator and throw in some aspects of Terminator 2 as well. Honestly, I'd say he did a good job. It was far from great, but we'll get to the problems soon enough. The good: I liked the characters, even the new ones though they were admittedly overshadowed by the old cast, but Natalia Reyes as "Dani Ramos" is a decently enough compelling character who I would love to see more of, though it's unlikely that a sequel will be happening. The tension was always felt throughout the movie, they did a good job making you feel the danger, though admittedly, sometimes it was a bit too over-the-top, which leads me to the negatives. That plane fight scene felt like something straight out of a video game. It wasn't enjoyable for me at all. Also, the last fight in the factory was pretty forgettable for the most part, right up until the end when Dani finally fights for herself. That was pretty awesome to see. In the end, this was a pretty decent movie. It's a shame it didn't do well, I feel that this was a good start to a new trilogy, but it's not likely that will be happening now.
