This film was so much better than the first. I never liked the first one, so I was skeptical seeing this, but I actually, to an extent, enjoyed it. I really enjoyed the lore part of the film. For me, that was easily the most interesting part of the movie. The characters I didn't care about one bit. They were just as uninteresting as they were in the first movie. The music was better in this film for the simple fact that none of them were annoying and you could actually understand the words they were saying (looking at you whatever was that song sung by the trolls in the first film). That said, none of the songs were good. In fact, the songs were downright forgettable, but at least they were better than the first film's songs (EDIT: "Show Yourself" was actually pretty good. But, the rest of the songs were pretty forgettable). Speaking of songs, I am glad they finally explained where that chanting song that was done at the beginning of both movies came from. I was genuinely wondering that (this wasn't sarcasm, I swear. I know how those two sentences look. They weren't sarcasm). I didn't like how they retread the whole trust issue from the first movie, how Elsa dumped Anna in the first one, and of course they did it again in this movie. I also really liked Elsa's queer arc in this movie. Probably the most relatable part of any of the characters. Honestly though, this movie was just kinda uninteresting for the most part. The ending made up for it though, the ending was perfect.
