Rated Star Trek: The Motion Picture 2/10

This movie was the definition of "boring." Everything dragged on too long. They would spend several minutes just moving the cameras around the ship so you can see it in about every angle. Several minutes of colors flashing around. Several minutes of walking. This movie should have cut out about half the film, and that would have only made this movie mediocre. The writing was about on par with the original TV show. In other words, or, to put it lightly, not the best. Spock seemed a bit too emotional in his sick bay interrogation. The new characters weren't interesting and didn't really add anything. The only interesting things in the whole movie was seeing the original crew together again and hearing "The Next Generation" theme playing as this movie's theme song. Seriously, unless you already love Star Trek and really want to watch everything the Star Trek universe has to offer or just everything with the original crew in it, just skip this. You will be bored. It's really not worth it.
