Rated Pokémon: Destiny Deoxys 2/10

Ok, this was bad. I mean, where do I start? This movie felt quite dragged out, and had serious tonal whiplash. It starts off as a Lion King ripoff and a destruction-fest. Then it becomes a generic Pokemon movie. Then it becomes a wannabe kids horror movie. Then it goes back to destruction fest and finally generic Pokemon movie. Team Rocket felt shoe-horned in. Ash Ketchum is a super-hero confirmed because how else could he jump on those floating blocks? That said, the kid in the blue sweater who was scared of the Pokemon is absolutely the most relatable and likeable character yet in any of these movies.
