Rated The Good, the Bad and the Ugly 6/10

It's a well-made film but probably my least favorite of the Dollars trilogy. It took too long to get going and then had a completely unnecessary civil war battle scene that brought the movie to a screeching halt. The other big problem I had with the movie is Blondie being "the good". Tuco ("The Ugly") is the least morally objectionable person in this movie and the only one I found myself liking even in the slightest. At least him becoming a bandit is understandable with his childhood. What's Blondie's excuse for being such a trash human being? Just inexcusable some of the things he does. I truly don't understand how the movie was expecting me to root for him. Even though he wasn't the most morally upstanding man in the previous films, at least the people he was against were obviously worse. In this film, that's not the case: Tuco is morally better.
